Primacoustic Broadway Acoustic Panels
Primacoustic Broadway is a range of high performance acoustic panels designed for use in the most demanding commercial applications where performance and safety are of utmost concern.
Made from high density 6 lb per cubic foot rigid fiberglass, Broadway panels are 4 to 5 times denser than typical acoustic foam resulting in greater sound absorption. Each panel is fully encapsulated with micromesh and features resin hardened edges. This retains the minute fiberglass strands while the 'sharp edges' accentuate the contrast in more demanding architectural installations. For greater flexibility, four standard panel sizes are available all of which may be ordered in varying thicknesses. The panels are then covered in an acoustically transparent fabric and offered in three 'neutral' colors: black, beige and grey. Panels may alternately be covered with a second fabric to suit those with greater artistic flare!
Installation is easy with a choice of impaling clips that screw to the wall onto which the panels are hung. Options include standard surface mount impalers; offset impalers that add an air space behind the panels to increase bass performance; and corner impalers that turn a typical Broadway panel into a serious corner bass trap.
Broadway panels are also employed in the construction of various Primacoustic room kits, bass traps, cloud ceiling systems. Applications include recording studios, broadcast facilities, home theatre, cinema, classrooms, office and industrial noise control. Best of all, they are safe to use. Broadway panels have been tested to meet the most stringent Class-1 fire safety specifications for use in public areas. This is further supported with independent laboratory tests to ensure the acoustic performance meets the most demanding design specifications.

Primacoustic Australis Corner Bass Traps
The Australis Bass Trap is a very efficient, low frequency bass absorber that when combined with Europa, Scandia and Orientique, provides excellent spectral balance within a room.
Made entirely from a solid block of 100% high-density, open-cell acoustical polyurethane foam, the Australis measures 12" x 36" to provide maximum absorption in the least space. The unique 'wedge' design allows easy placement in corners or on walls, offering tremendous flexibility to suit the most demanding architectural tastes. For even greater bass absorption, Australis can be stacked, grouped to form a wall cluster, or placed edge-to-edge at the wall and ceiling seam.
Australis works by trapping the random 'omni-directional' bass energy that tends to cluster in corners and overwhelm the room. Quarter-wavelength calculations prove that Australis is particularly effective for rooms with 8ft ceilings that require 36" of absorptive materials to control the troublesome 100Hz region. This has the positive effect of reducing smear, giving bass more definition and punch while allowing recordings to translate better to other rooms. |

Primacoustic Razorblade Quadratic Diffusers
The Razorblade is a high-performance quadratic residue diffuser that employs an array of 15 wells - specifically measured to break up and scatter acoustic energy to create a diffuse sound field.
Large, heavy quadratic residue diffusers like the Razorblade are commonly considered to be the most effective form of sound diffusion as they are able to control and disperse directional sound energy all the way down to 400Hz, thus eliminating problems such as standing waves, flutter echo and primary reflections while retaining the natural 'air' and ambiance of the room.
Razorblades are generally positioned at the 'receive' end of the room whereby sound entering the various wells is reflected back into the room at different times due to the various well depths. This effectively breaks up sound waves and their phase relationships, scattering the acoustic energy across a wider spectrum, eliminating resonant peaks.
The Razorblade is ideally suited for studio installations, soft seat theatres, high-end home theatres and performance venues. |

Primacoustic GoTrap Studio GoBo and Bass Trap
The Primacoustic GoTrap is a combination studio gobo and bass trap that enhances the recording process by controlling spill between instruments while passively removing excessive bass from the room.
It features fabric covered high-density 6-lb per cubic foot sound absorbing panels on both sides that effectively muffle the sound. This is augmented with an internal fiberboard 'spring' barrier that works double duty to both help contain sounds between instruments while enhancing bass absorption.
By combining the acoustic panels and the internal barrier with the deep 8" internal cavity, bass absorption extends down to 75Hz. This makes the GoTrap an ideal studio device as it is always working to help control excessive bass (a common problem in small rooms) and it will be constantly used as a gobo to control spill from instruments when recording.
Made from furniture grade multi-ply Baltic birch, the 24"x36" GoTrap is engineered with dove-tail joints to meet the demands of the professional studio and provide years of faithful service. This is particularly important when you consider that gobos tend to be tossed around or stacked to create walls. The convenient height also makes the G-Trap a perfect sitting bench for studio session players. Features include side access handles for easy handling and stacking, rubber feet to reduce wear & tear and comes in choice of three great looking colors. |

Primacoustic FlexiBooth Instant Vocal Booth
The FlexiBooth is a full size 24" x 48" wall-mounted acoustic cupboard that opens up to surround the voice talent and create a 16 cubic foot 'voice-over zone'. This eliminates room ambiance from the voice, thus allowing the engineer to add the required echo or reverb to best suit the performance in post production.
From the outside, the FlexiBooth looks like a typical cupboard. It features an attractive black melamine finish that is easy to clean. Inside, ultra high performance 6lb per cubic foot fiberglass panels effectively absorb sound throughout the voice range. The acoustic panels are 100% encapsulated with micromesh and are covered in a tough yet attractive acoustically transparent fabric to enhance the fit and finish.
The FlexiBooth performs double duty as a variable room ambiance device. Those that have recorded in large professional studios will be familiar with the variable acoustic panels that are often used to tailor the room acoustics. For instance, a brighter more ambient room is as generally preferred with acoustic instruments or darker ambiance for voice, electric guitars and so on. By positioning several FlexiBooths around the room, one can easily create different acoustic environments by simply opening or closing the FlexiBooth doors. To reduce freight costs, the FlexiBooth ships flat and assembles in minutes using common household tools |
