Our dedicated facilities include 4 demo suites, 2 classrooms, sales offices and a dedicated video tech support team. We cater to top level film, television and corporate video clientele as well as independent producers and filmmakers. Our recent growth requires that we add an experienced individual to fill the position of Video Post Production Technician.

Job Description:
• Assist in technical pre-sales configuration in tandem with a highly trained sales force both in office and at on-site meetings with clients.
• Install and integrate hardware and software solutions in a professional and efficient manner.
• Assist cients in integrating these solutions into their existing infrastructure and workflow.
• Provide support for installed video DV, SD and HD edit suites (hardware and software) via email, telephone and on-site.
• Train and familiarize customers on the use of their new hardware and software solutions.
• Stay current and knowledgeable in Digital Video solutions; Standard and High Definition workflows.
• Have a hands on knowledge of hardware and software solutions for same.
• Be knowledgeable in storage solutions from direct connect to SAN as it applies to the maintenance of a video edit suite.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be knowledgable in our current suite of solutions:
• Operating systems: Apple OSX and OSX Server, Windows XP and higher, Linux is an asset
• Software: Apple Final Cut Studio, Avid Xpress Pro (Mac and Windows), Adobe After Effects, related video edit plug ins and 3D software
• Hardware: Apple desktops and portables, Xserve, AJA, Black Magic, AV cabling solutions and networking
• Storage Systems: Xserve RAID, Edit Share, custom built RAID solutions and SANs
• Broadcast Decks & Switches, reference generators, audio and and video monitoring systems
• ACTC certification an asset.
